ACTION AT LAST BUT
WHY WAIT SO LONG?
Fred Fricker shows Lib Dem Cllr Dave Smithson
the extent of the problem at Manor Farm Road
Labour run Knowsley Council has at long last  promised residents on the St John’s estate that the shops on Manor Farm Road will soon be refurbished.

FRED CALLS FOR ACTION

But local Lib Dem campaigner Fred Fricker says it has taken far too long to sort out this eyesore.  At last this much needed refurbishment is going to take place,” said Fred Fricker.  “But why has it taken so long for the Council to act?

“The shops should never have been allowed to get into this state in the first place and has not helped local businesses in the area who have had to close down.  It has also created problems for local people with youths using the area for mischief.

“Is it any surprise that with the local elections coming up soon that the Labour run Council decide now to do something to address the problem!” said Fred Fricker.
