RECENTLY VISITED THE TEAM IN KNOWSLEY TO BOOST ELECTION MORALE AND RAISE
HIS OWN PROFILE IN THE AREA AHEAD OF THIS YEAR'S EUROPEAN ELECTIONS.
Mr Davies, a former Liverpool
City Councillor, believes Knowsley could provide one of the shock results
of this year's local elections with the Council transferring from Labour
to Lib Dem control.
"All across the North
West people are telling me how they are fed up with being taken for granted
by Labour politicians at all levels of government," said Mr Davies.
"They want to elect people who will work all year round for them not just
at election time and people who will listen to their views on local issues.
"The Lib Dems in Knowsley
have an excellent track record of doing just that and they could very easily
surprise a few people on June 10th with the amount of seats they win here,"
added Mr Davies.
