THE RADICAL PROPOSALS TO ADDRESS
THE FUTURE OF SCHOOLS IN KNOWSLEY HAVE EXPOSED THE “YEARS OF FAILURE” BY
THE LABOUR CONTROLLED AUTHORITY CLAIM THE LIB DEMS.
The recently published recommendations of the Schools Commission will now be the subject of further extensive consultation with parents and teachers before any final decisions are taken by the Council. MIXED RESPONSE But the proposals have already received a mixed response, with many parents understandably concerned about what the future will hold for their children’s education. RESERVATIONS EXPRESSED Knowsley’s Liberal Democrat group have expressed their reservations about many of the proposals. They intend to challenge some
of the conceptions upon which these recommendations have been made as well
as the solutions outlined in the report during the consultation period.
